Brasserie Four

Brasserie Four is a little French bistro in the heart of downtown Walla Walla. They serve a delightful array of French cuisine, local beers and wines.
The oysters on the half shell are extremely popular, as is their iconic dish of steak frites.
The pate and escargort never disappoint either!

Tip: Ask your server about specials-you wouldn’t want to miss out on Locati Farms grilled asparagus!

Starting with the house rose and red wine, a half and half board of pate de campagne and pate de foie de poulet, the escargorts with garlic butter, the french onion soup and oysters on the half shell. Delicious!

Yamas Greek Eatery

Yamas Greek Eatery is in the heart of downtown Walla Walla.
We started with a recommendation from Antonios (pictured above) for a beautiful Greek white wine. Crisp, dry and fruit forward, it was wonderfully paired with the alifes (a platter of five delicious house-made spreads.) Though they were all amazing, the tirokafteri (feta and hot peppers blended) was a huge hit for the whole table!

Ask your server about the specials!
I can’t for the life of me remember what the second special option was. As soon as I heard Antonios describe the octopus, I didn’t need to hear anything else.
Perfectly cooked, with a slight char on the outside. sitting in a bright citrus oil mixture, with a fresh salad… Wow!

Tip: To paraphrase Antonios, “No tips, what you see is what you get and you won’t be disappointed.” He was not wrong!
But a little insider tip, don’t forget the Ouzo throughout your meal to complete that authentic Greek dining experience!

Public House 124

Let’s just jump right in… this is an awesome local hot spot.
The staff is excellent, the food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderful.
If you’re looking for something cool and casual with a high-end twist, this is the place.
Their menu changes slightly through the seasons, but there are some classics you will always be able to get, like their ever so popular and totally scrumptious truffle fries!
Pictured below are their extra crispy wings with a soy/chili/nuoc cham sauce, egg rolls with a sweet and tangy dipping sauce and the aforementioned truffle fries.

Tip: Ask for the wings “Lamn Style” for some extra heat, and a side of the apple salad to cool the pallet after!

Don’t forget the cocktails!

With a fun list of specialty cocktails and some mad skills behind the bar, you don’t want to skip out on the spirits here!
Pictured are The 124 Margarita, which was a HUGE hit with the whole table (everyone ordered one after sampling), and the Drinker’s Dilemma which can be made with your choice of gin, mezcal or rye. We went for a smoky mezcal with this one, and it was perfection!

Tip: Feel daring!? Ask for the Audible 124 and let your bartender get creative!

Taqueria Mi Pueblito

There are plenty of amazing taquerias and taco wagons around town, but this one is just a quick 3 minute drive from the Inn.
Run through their drive thru and bring back some of the ever popular Walla Walla tacos, or my personal favorite al pastor and chill out on one of the patios or down by the creek with these delicious bites!

Tip: Don’t forget to ask for hot green sauce.

Tacos aren’t just for Tuesdays!
